Joe Biden created a crisis on the border, and Biden allies may be cashing in.
According to recent reporting by the New York Post, while Harris won’t visit the border, officials are handing out her book to migrants in border facilities.
This raises the question: Is Harris making money off of the unprecedented surge of unaccompanied migrant children coming to the border? If so, how much? Is this what she meant when she bizarrely claimed “we're making progress” despite 5 times the number of border apprehensions and a 233% increase in fentanyl smuggling over this time last year?
Still, Harris’ potential book profits are small potatoes compared to the money the Biden administration is throwing at Biden-linked organizations.
According to Axios, “A Texas nonprofit that recently hired a Biden transition official got a contract worth as much as $530 million to help manage the influx of migrant children at the southern border.” The Washington Examiner also reported that ICE gave the same organization another $87 million no-bid contract.
Millions of dollars to Biden-linked firms in no-bid contracts? That’s a massive conflict of interest concern and, as calls for accountability increase, Biden has continued to restrict press access at the border.
These are serious questions. Americans deserve answers and they deserve them now.
