Once upon a time, Democrat Gretchen Whitmer took a trip to a place far, far away…violating her own strict COVID lockdown rules.
While she forced Michiganders to stay at home, Whitmer chartered a private plane for a trip to Florida, keeping her escapade private while vehemently and publicly claiming that ANY travel would “contribute to spread.”
After Michiganders learned Whitmer breached her own draconian lockdown orders, calls for transparency grew. Yet, Whitmer REFUSED to answer questions about who paid for the jet.
As it turns out, a nonprofit footed part of the bill for Whitmer’s private plane. She tried to dump the news last Friday evening, hoping the world would miss it.
What’s more: according to the FAA, the company that flew Whitmer was not actually authorized to operate charter flights.
The more Whitmer lies, the more questions that are raised. Why did she violate her own orders? Was her trip a legitimate nonprofit purpose? If not, why did a nonprofit foot part of the bill? And why is she refusing to answer questions?
Whitmer tried to kill the story with a Friday news dump, but it didn’t work. The public is demanding answers. She needs to come clean for her dishonest and hypocritical behavior.
