This is not a seasonal border crisis.
Last week alone, there were 20,000 illegal immigrants apprehended in just the Rio Grande Valley Sector of the border. For context, there was an average of approximately 14,000 apprehensions per week in this region in June, and June apprehensions totaled a new 21-year high.

And if that number looks bad, the number escaping detention could be far worse.
According to a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) analysis of the El Paso Sector, as many as 77% of adult illegal immigrants crossing the border by themselves are trying to evade apprehension. Unfortunately, many are successful. Per one author of a study out of MIT and Yale, only an estimated 68% of the illegal immigrants crossing the border are apprehended, meaning an estimated 576,000 illegal immigrants could cross the border and escape into the U.S. undetected this year.
And even as the weather heats up, massive groups of illegal immigrants from around the world are heading to the border to exploit Biden’s crisis.

So much for Biden’s claim of a “cyclical” and “seasonal” border crisis.
If it’s a day that ends in “y,” the Biden administration is lying about the border crisis they created. But as they continue to lie, there’s more evidence every day showing Biden’s border crisis is completely out of control.
