Is Joe Biden letting Andrew Cuomo run the Ralph Northam playbook?

In 2019, Biden tweeted, “Governor Northam has lost all moral authority and should resign immediately.” But last month, Biden was in Virginia praising Northam, “First off, it goes without saying how much I appreciate your current governor, Ralph Northam.”

It’s part of a growing Democrat strategy: 1.) Call on someone to resign; 2.) do nothing about it; 3.) hope everyone forgets; 4.) act like nothing happened.

What are the signs Biden is running the same playbook?

  1. Biden is refusing to call on Cuomo to be impeached if he does not resign.
  2. He has not called Cuomo to pressure him to resign.
  3. He does not support stripping Cuomo of his leadership positions in governors’ associations.
  4. He has “no plans” to call Cuomo to pressure him to resign

 

If Biden really wants Cuomo to resign, why won’t he call him?

At this rate, it looks like in 2 years, Biden will be in New York talking about how much he appreciates Andrew Cuomo.
