In case you missed the news dump on Friday, the Biden administration announced there were over 150,000 illegal encounters at the border in January.
Now, for weeks, the administration has been bizarrely bragging that the worst January at the border in over 20 years somehow shows their border policy is “working.” There’s one major problem with that “analysis:” this January is WORSE than last January, and last year was the worst year at the border ever recorded.
Bottom line: There have been over 1.1 million illegal border crossings in just the last four months, including over 300,000 “gotaways” who have escaped into the country. Anyone bragging about that must have crisis as a policy objective.
