“Isn't it almost Orwellian?” That’s how ABC’s Jonathan Karl described the Biden administration’s ridiculous spin on their latest tax-and-spending scam. “How can you call it the ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ when the nonpartisan experts say it's not going to bring inflation down?”

That’s a great question — one we’ve been asking for weeks as inflation remains at a 40-year high.
And it’s not just Republicans who are asking these questions; CNN’s Brianna Keilar described it the same way. So did CBS News and the Associated Press, along with the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, the Tax Foundation, the Penn Wharton Budget Model, JPMorgan Chase, and Moody’s.
Of course, you can’t defend the indefensible. That’s why Biden officials — and congressional Democrats, of whom every single one voted to pass Biden’s scheme — are scrambling for palatable talking points.
When you vote to raise taxes, hire 87,000 new IRS agents, and make inflation worse, voters rightly have questions.
And Democrats have no answers.
