The hearing to approve Hunter Biden’s negotiated plea agreement was supposed to be a routine affair — until it wasn’t.
Hunter Biden’s attorneys and federal prosecutors colluded on a broad plea deal — one which could be read as shielding Hunter from future prosecution — and kept it secret, hoping for a judge’s blind final approval.
That didn’t happen. Instead, the plea agreement crumbled under basic scrutiny from the judge — and the day ended with Hunter pleading not guilty. Will we finally see Hunter Biden held accountable — or Joe Biden, for that matter?
Of course, it was never supposed to be that way. Multiple “highly credible” whistleblowers were never supposed to come forward alleging political interference in the investigation. Biden’s former business partner and best friend was never supposed to testify to Congress. Damning allegations from an FBI confidential human source of bribes paid to the Bidens were never supposed to be made public.
Yet here we are.
