Jackson suggests court packing has merit

Rapid Response

Is Ketanji Brown Jackson in favor of court packing?

When asked directly, Jackson answered, “I hear the arguments on both sides."

To justify her refusal to answer the question, Jackson falsely claimed Justice Barrett had refused to answer that question during her hearings. But Jackson did not just obfuscate, she suggested the arguments for court packing have merit.

Reminder, both Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Justice Stephen Breyer warned about the dangers of court packing, and the massive damage it would do to the integrity of the Supreme Court.

If she isn’t willing to defend the integrity of the court, how can Americans expect her to defend their fundamental liberties?
