Joe Biden is the new and *not improved* Jimmy Carter.

On Joe Biden’s watch, America is grappling with a gas crisis, record-breaking inflation, weak leadership abroad, and Americans trapped behind enemy lines, all reminiscent of the Jimmy Carter years:

• Skyrocketing gas prices: gas prices are up 42% from this time last year due in part to Joe Biden’s reliance on OPEC instead of American energy.
• Inflation: this summer, consumer prices rose at the fastest pace since 2008. Americans are paying more for “virtually everything.”
• Weak leadership: Joe Biden allowed U.S. weapons to fall into Taliban hands, and literally turned his back on the Americans he abandoned in Afghanistan.
• Americans trapped behind enemy lines: During the Iranian hostage crisis, there were 52 Americans held hostage. Now, Joe Biden has abandoned hundreds of Americans in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan. He has no plan to rescue them and has knelt to the Taliban by relying on them to evacuate Americans.

What’s worse: this Taliban hostage crisis is Biden’s doing. He broke his promise to safely evacuate every American before leaving the country.

On August 19, Biden said “if there are American citizens left, we’re going to stay until we get them all out.”
