Law enforcement is telling North Carolina voters to say “no” to Democrat Cheri Beasley.
In case you missed it, last week the North Carolina Police Benevolent Association endorsed Ted Budd, emphatically reversing its previous support of Beasley.
Why? As NCPBA David Rose President put it: “A vote for Ted Budd is a vote for the men and women of law enforcement and the citizens they serve…we need a Senator who has our backs and not someone who is supported by Defund the Police activists.”
The NCPBA joins the North Carolina Troopers Association in rejecting Beasley for partnering with defund the police extremists as violent crime surges. And Beasley’s claim that she is a friend of law enforcement? Al Lowry, whose brother was killed in the line of duty, says “I just think it’s B.S. … She’s for the criminals and not for the law officers.”
It’s clear: A vote for Budd is a vote for safer streets, and a vote for Beasley is a vote for defund the police.
