Let them build solar panels

Rapid Response

Joe Biden’s green “jobs” plan amounts to little more than empty promises, which is cold comfort to the workers who have already lost their jobs because of his policies.

  • Washington Post: Kerry’s misleading framing of potential solar and wind jobs: The projected new jobs in these industries over 10 years amount to just 20 percent of the current number of coal jobs — and they do not pay as well either.”
  • AP FACT CHECK: Biden’s fuzzy math on 1 million new auto jobs: “Many analysts and the United Auto Workers union, in fact, have warned that electric vehicle manufacturing probably will mean fewer net auto-making jobs…Currently, automakers pay workers who assemble batteries less than they pay those who manufacture vehicles.

Fewer jobs, that pay less, and are often times across the country is not a serious jobs plan to compensate for the livelihoods Biden’s policies are actively destroying. Instead, it is a betrayal of the working men and women who self-proclaimed “Middle Class Joe” pledged to protect during the campaign.
