Mandela Barnes: "Frustration," Not Riots

For Wisconsin Democrat Senate candidate Mandela Barnes, the riots of 2020 weren’t riots at all — they merely represented “frustration.”

It’s one of at least seven instances in which Barnes downplayed the violent, destructive, and deadly rampages that took place across his state.

In the summer of 2020, violent rioters ransacked businesses, attacked police, and destroyed livelihoods.

Excusing the behavior of violent radicals is exactly what you’d expect from Barnes, who has embraced extremism for his entire political career. Barnes supports defunding the police, abolishing ICE, and releasing HALF of Wisconsin’s inmates; he even boasted of an endorsement from a Democrat who praised a cop killer.

There’s a reason Barnes has the endorsement of just two of Wisconsin’s 13,400 active duty law enforcement personnel.

If Barnes can’t even condemn riots decimating his own state, how can he be trusted to keep Wisconsinites safe?

He can’t.
