The Biden White House is bragging that there have “only” been 4,000 to 5,000 illegal encounters per day at the border in January. For context, former Obama DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson said 1,000 illegal encounters per day at the border “overwhelms the system.”
It’s ridiculous on its face, but also begs the question: If their border policy is so “successful,” why is DHS Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas unacceptably BLOCKING Border Patrol chiefs from testifying before Congress?
Because it’s not successful. Case in point: 300,000 illegal immigrant “gotaways” have escaped into the country in just the last 4 months, and over 1.2 million have escaped since Biden took office.
