Democrat Terry McAuliffe’s campaign is ending not with a bang, but with an implosion.
During an interview today on Meet the Press, McAuliffe repeated his lies, smears, and attacks on parents.
First, he doubled down again on saying “I don't think parents should be telling schools what they should teach,” absurdly claiming he was right because his campaign staff and special interest buddies agreed.

Then he falsely claimed critical race theory is not taught in Virginia – even though his administration pushed for it when he was governor – and smeared concerned parents as “racist.”

And if for some reason you weren’t sure about McAuliffe’s disdain for parents before, he made it crystal clear he wants parents to shut up, telling them to stop “creating such a ruckus” and stay at home. Does he really believe the Loudoun County school board was “fine” even as evidence emerges that they covered up a sexual assault by hiding it from parents? Parents and students certainly don’t agree.

If McAuliffe was trying to dress up as an out-of-touch, condescending, special-interest-bought-and-owned politician for Halloween, he could not have done any better. But it’s not a costume, it’s who McAuliffe really is.
