"Mr. President, where are you?"

Joe Biden is breaking his campaign promise on reopening schools.

His “goal” of reopening 50% of the schools for 1 day per week in 100 days is not a goal at all – it is a complete failure of leadership. And he still has no plan to open high schools.

During the campaign, Joe Biden attacked President Trump and called closed schools a “national emergency.”

But now we see he has no plan and no courage to stand up to Democrat special interest groups.

So why is Biden setting the bar so low?

• To reduce transmission rates? Couldn’t be. Biden’s own CDC director says that closing schools does not decrease the spread of the coronavirus: “there is more spread that is happening in the community when schools are not open than when schools are open”
• For the kids? Nope. Health experts point to shocking statistics that closed schools are having major adverse effects on the mental health, social and economic situation, and academic achievement of America’s children.
• For the parents? No way. School closures are devastating working parents, especially moms working to provide for their families.

It’s past time Biden answered his own question: “Mr. President, where are you? Where are you? … Mr. President, that’s your job.”
