Wisconsin Democrat Senate candidate Mandela Barnes loves criminals — so much, in fact, that Barnes thinks HALF of Wisconsin’s inmates (including violent criminals) should be released.
As lieutenant governor, Barnes began to see his twisted vision come to fruition. Under Barnes, Democrat Gov. Tony Evers, and their hand-picked parole commissioner, hundreds of dangerous inmates — including murderers, attempted murderers, and rapists — were released from prison early.
That includes Scott Jenkins, who was convicted of first-degree murder for a “sniper slaying” in which he randomly shot a 76-year-old woman taking her dog for a walk in the park.
Jenkins, who later told a detective he simply wanted “to kill someone” and chose his victim at random, showed “no emotion” as he was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison, plus an additional 30 years to “run consecutively.”
Since Jenkins was serving a life sentence, he didn’t qualify for mandatory release — but the Evers-Barnes Parole Commission let him out anyway. For Barnes and his fellow Democrats, Jenkins is the kind of violent, sociopathic criminal they believe should be living out the rest of his days in the comfort of his home.
