Parents of children with speech or language disorders tell The Atlantic “their children’s speech therapy has been disrupted—first by the loss of in-person therapy and then by masking requirements,” having a “profound” negative effect on the child’s development.
That sentiment is echoed by speech therapists and child psychiatrists across the country, who note the demonstrable negative effect of forced masking on children: “children are less effective at processing emotions when people around them are wearing face masks.”
Apparently The Science™ is not enough for some Democrats, who still insist they know better.
