Today, John Fetterman claimed he’s “the only candidate in this race who has actually made our communities safer.”
Is this true? Did Fetterman make Braddock, Pennsylvania safer? No — he made it worse.
From 2006 to 2018, when Fetterman was mayor, violent crime TRIPLED while reports of property crimes, burglaries, larceny-theft, and motor vehicle theft also increased dramatically:
Fetterman routinely says he ran for mayor to stop violent crime. He failed, and that’s why he’s lying about it.
But perhaps when Fetterman says he’s “made our communities safer,” he’s talking about the time he chased down an unarmed Black jogger and pointed a shotgun at him?
