To deal with his border crisis, Biden is now throwing the border wide open.
According the to the Associated Press, to deal with the historic surge of illegal immigrants, the Biden administration is catching migrants crossing the border and releasing them without a court notice, and sometimes without any paperwork at all:
“Overwhelmed and underprepared, U.S. authorities are releasing migrant families on the Mexican border without notices to appear in immigration court or sometimes without any paperwork at all… Customs and Border Protection, which oversees the Border Patrol, said it stopped issuing court notices in some cases because preparing even one of the documents often takes hours. Migrants undergo background checks and are tested for COVID-19. The agency didn’t answer questions about how many migrants have been released without court notices or without documents at all.”
At the same time they are releasing illegal immigrants into the interior, the administration is actively trying to weaken ICE’s internal immigration enforcement authority.
And where is Biden’s so-called border crisis manager Kamala Harris? It has been over a week since she was tapped to head Biden’s border response, and she is starting her day almost 1,700 miles from the border with no plans to visit the scene of the crisis, and in true Biden fashion, has still not held a press conference.
Biden’s open borders agenda created this crisis in the first place, and now Biden is doubling down on the same destructive polices. We know what these policies will lead to – a further surge, a worsening crisis, and a continuing boom time for smugglers, gangs and traffickers – and Biden is to blame.
