"Our economy is strong as..."

Joe Biden insultingly claimed “our economy is strong as hell” last night in a scene that would make even Marie Antoinette blush.

What do Americans have to say? 78% rate the economy as “poor,” 57% say their financial situation is actively getting “worse,” Biden is underwater on his handling of the economy by a consistent 20-point margin, and Americans say Biden is hurting instead of helping the economy by a 19-point margin.

Americans say the economy is terrible because:

• Real wages have fallen at the fastest pace in 40 years.
• Americans’ real disposable income is lower than when Biden took office.
• Americans have lost nearly $2,000 on average paying increased energy costs since Biden took office.
• Under Biden, the 401(k)s of tens of millions of Americans have been devastated.
• Public pension funds “have lost tens of billions.”
• The average American has $11,000 less in savings than last year.

Biden almost had it right when he said, “our economy is strong as hell.” Just remove “strong as” and you’ve got the truth.
