Parents Should Run From Terry McAuliffe – And Fast

This weekend, union boss, private jet-hopper, and conspiracy theorist Randi Weingarten tweeted an endorsement of Terry McAuliffe.

 That’s unsurprising given the teachers unions’ grip on the Democrat Party. But that also means parents who want to be in charge of their kids’ education should run from Terry McAuliffe – and fast.

Recall that Weingarten:

• Refused to commit to supporting in-person learning as late as this summer, calling it a “political battlefield”
• Kept children out of classrooms while hypocritically holding in-person meeting after in-person meeting after in-person meeting (after in-person meeting after in-person meeting after in-person meeting)
• Admitted her union directly influenced the Biden administration’s policy on school reopening
• Repeatedly defended bringing critical race theory and the 1619 Project into schools across the country
• Has come “under fire for controversial remarks linking private school choice to racial segregation”

Given her divisive, radical, and anti-student agenda, it’s no wonder Weingarten is endorsing McAuliffe – who has accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars from teachers’ unions and prioritized powerful special interests over Virginians for his entire career.

This is the same McAuliffe who:

• Said parents shouldn’t be “telling schools what they should teach”
• Dismissed parents concerned about CRT as conspiracy theorists and “racist” but was unable to say why
• Vetoed legislation that would have ensured Virginia parents were notified if their kids were assigned sexually explicit material in school.

If it wasn’t clear already, it certainly is now. If you care about your kids’ education, don’t vote for McAuliffe.
