As put by Professor Jonathan Turley today, “the witness for the majority against the Biden administration in this opinion [on Biden’s student debt bailout] turned out to be former Speaker Nancy Pelosi!”
Why? Because even Pelosi said Biden did not have the “the power for [student loan] debt forgiveness.”

It was not passed by Congress (even though Biden seemed to think it was). In fact, it was explicitly rejected by Congress.
The bigger question is not why the Supreme Court blocked his bailout, but why Biden would pursue such an unconstitutional – and extremely harmful – policy in the first place.
