Rapid Response

Yesterday at the White House, President Trump honored the families of the 13 selfless American heroes who tragically lost their lives during Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal.

President Trump signed a Proclamation officially naming August 26, 2025 as a day in commemoration of the 4th anniversary of the attack at Abbey Gate. He will ensure that the sacrifice and service of these brave American heroes are never forgotten, and that their legacy will live on.

President Trump and America will never forget these 13 brave service members who lost their lives:

  • Marine Corps Lance Cpl. David L. Espinoza, 20
  • Marine Corps Sgt. Nicole L. Gee, 23

  • Army Staff Sgt. Ryan C. Knauss, 23

Only seven months into his presidency, Biden orchestrated the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, costing American lives and unleashing global chaos.

Democrats took zero accountability for the deadly consequences of their poor judgement. Then-Vice President Kamala Harris bragged about "being the last person in the room" when Biden made the decision to abruptly withdraw from Afghanistan and responded to the tragedy by laughing.

History will remember the Biden-Harris Administration’s Afghanistan withdrawal for its deadly consequences and failed leadership at the highest levels.
