President Trump Is Restoring Law & Order In Memphis

This morning, President Trump announced plans to deploy federal resources to Memphis, Tennessee to help combat the out-of-control violent crime in the city.

President Trump’s bold action has already been welcomed by elected officials in the state.

Crime in Memphis is out-of-control:

Just this year, Memphis has had 145 murders
In June, a man was arrested for attempting to kidnap the Mayor of Memphis, Paul Young.
In 2024, Memphis had the highest violent crime rate in the United States
Four children were shot inside of a home this past Sunday night.
A 17-year-old McDonald's employee was shot while standing outside of work.
A Memphis mother, whose son was killed in an interstate shooting, commented on the violent crime in the city: "Every day that I look at the news, there are more and more stories, so you can't prove it by me that the crime is on a decrease — it's not happening."
A Memphis resident said “"We need [the National Guard] bad. They need to hurry up and come."

Crime is a choice, and Democrats seem far more upset about the offer of help than the crime epidemic in their own backyards.

Democrat Mayor Paul Young has chosen to accept President Trump’s help to crush violent crime in Memphis, but other Democrats like the failed Governor in Chicago JB Pritzker are choosing to let their cities be a safe haven for criminals.
