This National Police Week, and
always, President Trump is honoring and celebrating our courageous
law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line to keep us safe. This
used to be a bipartisan cause, but Democrats are doing their best to change
that. In recent days, Democrats have made it clear that they don't stand
with law enforcement:
- LaMonica
McIver, Rob Menendez & Bonnie Watson Coleman assaulted ICE officers
when they broke into the NJ ICE Detention Center.
- Hakeem
Jeffries threatened law
enforcement officers earlier this week at a press conference.
- Jasmine
Crockett said they are standing
"10 toes down" for their members against law enforcement.
In contrast, President Trump has made his position clear. He
unequivocally stands with our law enforcement officers. He has:
- Signed an executive
order directing the Justice Department to seek the death penalty to
criminals who murder police officers.
- Signed an executive
order that strengthens our law enforcement.
- Designated May 15th as
officially Peace Officers Memorial Day and May 11-17th as Police week.
- Stands up for our brave
police officers and backs the blue entirely.
Democrats might be turning
their back on law enforcement officers, but President Trump will ALWAYS stand
with them.
