PRICE HIKE: Inflation Rages On
Jake - Schneider

“HOTTER THAN EXPECTED” and “HEADED IN THE WRONG DIRECTION.”

That’s how the latest Consumer Price Index is being described after showing inflation rose 3.5 percent in March over last year — another month of price shocks in the Biden economy.

Overall prices have risen 19.4 percent since Biden took office — with electricity up 28.3 percent, groceries up 21.1 percent, and rent up 20.9 percent.

Americans’ earnings have also taken a massive hit, with real average weekly earnings down by 3.9 percent since Biden took office; they rose by 8.2 percent during President Trump’s term.

Since Biden took office, inflation has averaged 5.5 percent year-over-year — more than DOUBLE the level of inflation under any of the last four presidents and well above the Fed’s two percent target.

In 2021, Biden and his administration were insisting “long-term inflation” was “highly unlikely.” Just yesterday, Karine Jean-Pierre suggested she wasn’t concerned at all inflation could be back on the rise.

Under President Trump, inflation averaged 1.9 percent — right on target.

That’s why Americans know they’ll be better off under President Trump.
