Raphael Warnock has the audacity to make his closing argument about “character.”
How is this for a study in character?
Reminder, Warnock is the head of the Ebenezer Building Foundation, the organization that owns 99% of Columbia Tower. Here are just a few ways tenants and city officials have described that building: “Mice, roaches, and bugs infestation,” “highly hazardous,” “junk, trash, & debris on premise,” “ceiling surfaces [that] are soiled and unsanitary,” “we have a smell here,” “horrific and ridiculous,” “sickening.”
But what is Warnock’s response? To lie, while refusing to address reports of a sex offender sleeping in the hallway, a dead body left decomposing for days in an apartment, or a maintenance man charged with savagely murdering a tenant. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to all the reasons Warnock is wrong for Georgia.
The irony of slumlord millionaire Raphael Warnock talking about “character” should be lost on no one. Vote accordingly.
