The more we learn, the more it looks like taking advantage of low-income tenants is a feature not a bug of how Raphael Warnock operates.
The facts:
- Per new reporting from The Washington Free Beacon, “The chairwoman of Georgia Democratic senator Raphael Warnock's church, which is under fire for evicting tenants from its low-income apartment complex, is also a director at one of the largest corporate landlord firms in the United States—a company that Democrats have accused of ‘shamelessly profiting’ off the housing crisis.”
- Further, Columbia Residential – the organization Warnock’s church tapped to operate their property – is one of the leading eviction filers in the United States. In fact, Columbia Residential “ranked in the 98 percentile of corporate evictors in 2021.”
The chairwoman of his church is known for “shamelessly profiting” off of housing. The operator of the church’s building is a known leader in evictions. Yet Warnock insists he is “proud” and spreads lies to hide how low-income tenants are evicted and forced to live in horrifying and dangerous conditions.
Sure sounds like taking advantage of low-income tenants was the point from the start. On December 6, Georgians will evict slumlord Warnock from the Senate.
