It’s been over 24 hours since House Republicans passed a plan to responsibly raise the debt limit, curb inflation, grow the economy, and save taxpayer dollars.
What has Joe Biden said in response? Silence.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy says this morning that he hasn’t heard from the White House after passing their debt limit package.

Biden asked for a plan. Republicans not only provided one, they passed it. In fact, only Republicans have passed a plan to avoid default and save taxpayer money. Biden hasn’t. Senate Democrats haven’t.
.@SpeakerMcCarthy: “I sat down with [Biden] on February 1st … then I never heard from him for another 85 days.”

“He said ‘produce a plan, where’s your plan?’ Well we put our plan out, and now we’ve passed it. We're the only people in Washington that have raised the debt limit.” pic.twitter.com/cD3CdO09F8
Biden used to say that leaders need to negotiate. Looks like the Joe Biden who at least claimed he cared about actually being a leader is long gone. He needs to stop obstructing, stop risking default, and do his job.
