Swamp monsters of a feather flock together, and Terry McAuliffe and Joe Biden are two of the swampiest of career politicians.

In 2009, McAuliffe said that career politicians should retire: “Too many people stay in politics too long.”

Unfortunately, it’s more than just decades in the swamp these two have in common – they routinely put Democrat special interest groups over parents.

• Biden went to union boss Randi Weingarten for language on school reopening guidance, his DOJ opened an investigation into parents, and his Education secretary refused to say parents are the “primary stakeholders” in their kids’ education.
• McAuliffe said parents shouldn’t be in charge of their kids’ education, vetoed bills meant to keep parents informed about school material, and smears parents concerned about divisive critical race theory as “racist.”

Yikes. For Biden and McAuliffe, it’s the swamp first, Americans second. That’s why even McAuliffe conceded Biden is “unpopular…in Virginia.”

With nearly a combined 90 YEARS in politics, it’s time McAuliffe and Biden took McAuliffe’s own advice and retire. Virginia and the country would be a lot better off.
