Last night, in the liberal enclave of San Francisco, voters overwhelmingly recalled three far-left school board members – a clear rejection of the woke progressivism and leftist activism that has taken over public schools.
Just how big was the landslide? After 85% of San Francisco voters supported Democrats in 2020, 72% voted to oust the school board members in the city’s first recall in 40 years. It’s yet another warning shot to Democrats using school boards as their platform to push a political ideology: be accountable to parents or you’re fired.
The outcome is shocking to nobody who has been paying attention. Fed up with the race-baiting, never-ending lockdowns, and forced masking (even OUTDOORS), the results echo the movement that unfolded in Virginia last year.
Not once has Biden or his administration denounced the anti-science policies pushed by school boards in San Francisco and across the country. But why would he? Biden can’t risk agitating one of the biggest funders of Democrat campaigns: teachers’ union bosses.
Voters will remember in November.
