Taxing you, enriching themselves

Rapid Response

Some in the Biden administration may stand to make millions from Joe Biden’s proposed Green New Deal policies, and they want to tax you to pay for it.

Exhibit A:

Joe Biden officially promoted Proterra, a company which his Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm STILL has millions invested in. And today, just days later, Biden announced to the world that Granholm is in charge of his administration’s Green New Deal technology investments.

Long story short, Granholm could stand to personally make millions from the very taxpayer investments she overseas. As pointed out by the New York Post editorial board:

“But a Biden executive order in February gave Granholm the job of ‘identifying risks in the supply chain for high-capacity batteries, including electric-vehicle batteries, and policy recommendations.’ Plus, his ‘infrastructure’ plan would drop $174 billion on the EV market, including a program that would replace at least 20 percent of school buses with EVs — and Proterra is one of the leading US manufacturers of electric buses. So: Did the energy secretary have no say in the plan’s EV provisions, after Biden made it her job to offer EV solutions, or is this huge conflict of interest OK because the cause is so politically correct?

And where would Granholm get this money to “invest”? Taxes. Biden wants to levy $2 trillion in tax hikes on the American people to pay for his agenda, which studies indicate would destroy 159,000 jobs, lower wages, and shrink the economy.

Biden climate czar John Kerry’s unmatched personal hypocrisy was already bad enough, but now Biden wants to bring back Solyndra and multiply it by many billions of dollars, all while the people running these “investments” could make millions wasting the hard-earned money of American taxpayers.
