Need more evidence that the Texas Democrats’ flight to D.C. is nothing but a political stunt? Look no further than one of their leaders: Democrat Texas State Representative James Talarico.
When he’s not too busy applauding his own “sacrifices” by joining his colleagues on a D.C. vacation, he’s being pictured with a bunch of smiling Democrats and a case of Miller Lite.

We left behind our families, our livelihoods, & our beloved Texas. But our sacrifice is nothing compared to the sacrifices brave Americans have made throughout history to protect the sacred right to vote.

Just don’t ask him about the specifics of the Texas bill, because he makes clear the Democrats have no leg to stand on.
When asked to name any legal voter who would have their right to vote infringed by the Texas integrity bill, he couldn’t name a single one and dodged. It’s not the first time Democrats have failed to back up grandiose claims (see Brnovich v. DNC).

And in the same interview, he revealed he opposes popular voter ID laws. Uh oh…someone should tell Stacey Abrams, who just last month said that “no one has ever objected” to voter ID provisions.
Stunts, lies, smears … it’s the same playbook in state after state. But this time, Democrats are really jumping the shark in a desperate effort to pass their Corrupt Politicians Act. Too bad for them, Americans see through their partisan lies and oppose their federal election takeover.
