Thanksgiving costs a whole lot more under Joe Biden — and that’s a fact, Jack.
The price of a traditional Thanksgiving meal has surged by 25 percent since 2019, according to the American Farm Bureau’s annual survey — making this the second-most expensive Thanksgiving in the survey’s 38-year history.
Since 2019, the cost of a 16-pound turkey has risen by 31.5 percent, while other staples have also skyrocketed in price — including rolls (up 54 percent), stuffing (up 41 percent), and Russet potatoes (up 30 percent).
Meanwhile, many other items — including canned cranberries, canned pumpkin, and Russet potatoes — have seen double digit percentage increases over the past year alone. The price for a ham is near its all-time high.
Americans are feeling the pinch in more than just food prices. As millions of Americans plan to hit the road over the holiday, gas prices remain nearly $1/gallon higher than when Biden took office. Food banks across the country are serving many more people with fewer resources. HALF of American consumers plan to take on more debt to pay for holiday purchases as six-in-ten Americans report living paycheck-to-paycheck, according to a brand new report.
