Joe Biden’s open borders agenda is cruel, and some of the victims of his policies are teens and children.
18,962 unaccompanied minors were encountered at the border in July, passing March for a new all-time high. In fact, the number of unaccompanied minors crossing the border has been at historic levels for the past five months.
Biden’s policies are to blame. Even Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton warned in 2014 that the exact agenda Biden has enacted would lead to a humanitarian crisis.
As noted by Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei, Biden’s agenda is encouraging parents to place their children in the hands of human smugglers. During the journey, a countless number of minors are abused, assaulted, raped, abandoned, or killed.
And when they arrive to the U.S., the unprecedented surge is leading to inhumane conditions. Court documents describe long wait times for medical care, children forced to eat raw food, and lengthy stays in crowded quarters.
Biden abandoned decades of bipartisan consensus to adopt a far-left open borders agenda. That agenda is not humane, it is cruel.
