The deadliest border crisis in U.S. history

Rapid Response

The Biden administration tried to bury news of the worst year at the border on record in a Friday night news dump.

Over 227,000 illegal immigrants were encountered at the southern border in September. That means there have been more than 4.7 MILLION illegal border crossings since Biden took office, including over 900,000 “gotaways” who have escaped into the country.

Every month under Biden has been worse than the corresponding average for that month under Trump. The number of encounters has been higher than the highest month under Trump for 19 straight months.

Biden’s border crisis is having devastating impacts on American families, as cartels use the crisis to smuggle fentanyl and poison our communities at “record rates.” According to the DEA, “fentanyl is the single deadliest drug threat our nation has ever encountered.”

The Biden administration and Democrats in Congress are responsible for the open border policies that have created the deadliest border crisis in American history. In two weeks, voters will hold them accountable.
