The news that 48 people were found dead in a tractor trailer near the border should shock all of us.
Horrifyingly, this incident is not isolated. The border is seeing the highest number of deaths since 2014. At least 650 people died last year trying to cross the border, and countless more may have been lost, never recorded.
And the death toll doesn’t just include migrants. It’s also those who are trying to protect our borders, like Texas National Guardsman Bishop Evans who lost his life trying to save people who were drowning.
But what’s the reaction from the White House? Falsely claiming “the border is closed." That is a lie, and we all know it. Experts warn tragedies like this will only continue as the highest number of people ever recorded cross the border.

In 2014, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and even Joe Biden warned that open borders policies would create a humanitarian crisis. Biden enacted those very same policies anyway KNOWING it would create devastation.
Biden created this crisis. Now, he is denying it exists. And while he sticks his head in the sand, the death toll of his border crisis keeps rising.
