The
Democrats' reckless stunt to shut down our government because they
want to fund healthcare
for criminal illegal aliens has led to devastating consequences
for American families, workers, and the economy.
Hypocritical Democrats would
rather shut down the government than vote for a clean CR that they have
voted for 13 times before.

week the shutdown lasts will cost $15 billion in the U.S.

Americans would lose their jobs in a monthlong shutdown.
- WIC
benefits for nearly 7 million vulnerable women and children
will no longer be available.
- Key
veterans’ services including career counseling, the GI Bill hotline, VA
regional offices, burial applications, and memorial certificates will
suffer.
- Border
Patrol, Coast Guard crew, air traffic controllers, federal firefighters,
FBI agents, and millions of Americans who heroically protect our country
will have to work without pay.
- Small
businesses will struggle as federal loans, contracts, exports, and
mortgages are delayed.
Democrats would rather hurt
American families than give up their far-left wish list. Americans deserve a
government that works for them and not one held hostage by Democrats’ radical
demands.
