Nancy Pelosi just confirmed that Democrats in D.C. couldn’t care less about lowering energy costs for Americans.
She made it crystal clear she’s against increasing U.S. oil and gas production, claiming high prices can’t be an “excuse”:

So what’s her “solution”? Pushing a socialist Green New Deal agenda. Democrats are so out-of-touch, they think Americans struggling to fuel their cars and heat their homes is an opportunity to increase families’ energy costs even more.

Reminder, when prices were high in 2008, President Bush announced a renewed push to drill for more oil in the U.S. and prices dropped as Bush was speaking, and by as much as 70% in a matter of months.
Instead, Biden wants to increase taxes on oil and gas production in America even as energy prices surge. Even Nancy Pelosi admits “consumers pay” for those tax increases.
For Democrats, the pain at the pump is on purpose. Come November, Americans will remember it’s all about the energy and vote Democrats out of office.
