This law is inhumane and anti-science. At 22 days a baby has a heartbeat, at 8 weeks an unborn baby has a well-formed brain, by 12 weeks the baby is fully formed, and at 15 weeks the baby has a nose, eyelids, eyebrows and can feel pain.
None of that matters to Senate Democrats, but it matters to the American people:
