- Compared the United States to the Holocaust and Nazi Germany.
- The 1619 Project: In 2020, Jackson praised the 1619 Project, which argues that the U.S. is a fundamentally racist country.
- Jackson specifically cited the section of the project that takes issue with Americans being “raised to think about 1776 as the beginning of our democracy.”
- She called Nikole Hannah-Jones an “acclaimed investigative journalist.”
- Leonard Jeffries: During her senior year at Harvard, Ketanji Brown Jackson was a member of an organization that brought anti-Semitic speaker Leonard Jeffries to campus.
- The year before Jeffries spoke at Harvard, the American Jewish Committee (AJC) released a report saying Jeffries “preaches Jew-hatred like a religion.”
- The speech at Harvard was widely publicized, enough so that the Harvard University chapters of the Jewish campus organization Hillel, the Gay-Straight Alliance, and College Democrats condemned the event.
- She was a member of the organization that “applauded” Jeffries speech but there is no record of her condemning the event.
