When Joe Biden and Kamala Harris claim the “root cause” of their border crisis lies in the Northern Triangle, they are not telling the truth.
The facts: During Donald Trump’s last full month in office, there were only 7,890 illegal immigrants encountered at the border who were not from Mexico or the Northern Triangle. In June 2021 under Biden, that number skyrocketed to 47,224.
Biden’s border crisis has gone global. In just recent months, border agents have encountered illegal immigrants from over 160 countries.
The word is out thanks to Biden: To get into the United States, fly to Mexico and try to cross the border.
Just yesterday, Fox News’ Bill Melugin reported in Del Rio, Texas that “the biggest single group I’ve ever seen [came] up to the border … they’re basically demanding to be let into the United States … two border patrol buses have already taken about 160 folks away.” Per reports, these migrants were not from Mexico or the Northern Triangle
