"the Republic will be reorganized"

All politics is local…unless Pelosi and the Democrats get their way. The Democrats’ H.R. 1 / S. 1 “Corrupt Politicians Act” is a pure partisan power grab meant to concentrate authority with career politicians in Washington, D.C.

Far from strengthening our elections, the “Corrupt Politicians Act” would undermine them.

This far-left election takeover bill would:

• Create unconstitutional federal mandates on states, forcing them to:
  • Allow ballot harvesting.
  • Adopt automatic voter registration on short notice, even though past attempts to implement automatic voter registration have led to illegal immigrants being registered and massive registration errors. 
  • Grant felons the right to vote in federal elections the moment they leave prison.
  • Eviscerate commonsense and widely supported state voter ID laws.
• Use taxpayer dollars to fund the campaigns of career politicians. Taxpayers would be forced to bankroll campaigns they don’t agree with – mostly in states they don’t even live in.
• Transform the currently bipartisan FEC regulator into a “body subject to, and indeed designed for, partisan control.”
• And according to more than 130 advocacy organization and non-profit leaders, it would “dramatically alter the First Amendment protections that Americans have enjoyed since the founding of our country.”

The “Corrupt Politicians Act” is not about preserving democracy, it’s about Democrats trying to seize more taxpayer money and control for themselves.
