Make no mistake, these policy changes are the “root cause” of Biden’s border crisis. Even yesterday, Jen Psaki defended Biden’s determination to “implement a different approach” to border security, touting many of the policy changes that created the worst border crisis in DHS history.

Since Biden took office, there have been nearly 2 million illegal immigrants encountered from all around the world, and over 500,000 illegal immigrants have disappeared into the country. Disturbingly, officials expect the crisis to get much worse.
