The "root cause" is Harris and Biden

Border Czar Kamala Harris is still trying to gaslight Americans into believing the “root cause” of Biden’s border crisis is anything but their open borders agenda.

The 18-page report she released today on “root causes” is a joke. It only mentions “undocumented” once, does not say the word “illegal” at all, and if anything, it admits that terrible messaging from the Biden administration played a role in spurring the crisis.

Pushing paper will not solve this crisis. We can see the proof of Harris’ failure with our own eyes:

• Illegal border crossings reached a new 21-year high in June at over 188,000. That is the third month in a row of two-decade highs.
• Last week, border officials apprehended 20,000 illegal immigrants in the Rio Grande Valley Sector, topping June’s weekly average of 14,000 per week in the region.
• Within a single 24-hour period this week, Border Patrol in the Rio Grande Valley Sector apprehended 800 illegal immigrants, including the “single largest group” so far this year.
• Almost 50,000 illegal immigrants NOT from the Northern Triangle or Mexico were encountered at the border in June.

The true “root cause” of their border crisis is Biden’s open borders agenda. Until Biden and Harris recognize that, it will keep getting worse and worse.
