The snake oil salesman's budget

Joe Biden is releasing his budget today. He’s promising big things, but has ZERO credibility on the economy.

Biden never hesitates to flat-out lie about what his economic plans are actually doing. Case in point:

• The so-called “American Rescue Plan” didn’t “rescue” anyone. In fact, it fueled inflation and lowered real wages. Now, a record number of Americans say they are worse off than when Biden took office, and close to 60% say they are poorer than a year ago.
• The so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” was a scam that did NOTHING to reduce inflation. In fact, some experts predicted it will make inflation worse. Instead, it raised the tax burden on Americans making as little as $20,000 a year, created a “green” energy “slush fund” prime to be sent to Chinese Communist Party linked companies, and sent the IRS after the middle class.

And that’s not even including the months he spent downplaying, spinning, and lying about inflation. Biden’s modus operandi is dishonest marketing. But just like with any snake oil salesman, the truth always comes out.
