The State Of American Families' Finances

Rapid Response

Ahead of the State of the Union tomorrow, the verdict is already in on the state of Americans’ finances: after two years under Biden, things are significantly worse.

According to a new ABC News poll, a record number of people say they are financially worse off under Joe Biden.

A CBS News poll confirmed the sentiment, with 61% of Americans rating the economy as “bad” and 76% worrying about inflation. As a result, only 31% of DEMOCRATS want Biden to be their nominee in 2024.

Bottom Line: Since Biden took office, real wages are DOWN, incomes are DOWN, and savings are DOWN. The state of Americans’ finances is not strong, and thanks to Biden, it’s getting worse.
