Third Quarter GDP Outpaces Expectation In Trump's First Year Back

The final read on third quarter GDP showed the economy grew at 4.4% — outpacing economists' expectations once again.
 


 

Even economist John Lonski admitted, "We economists were horribly wrong on the strength of the economy, especially in the second half of 2025. Many were looking for growth no faster than 1.5%..."

Under President Trump, inflation remains low and under control, fewer Americans are filing for  unemployment, jobs are bringing brought back to the  American peoplewages and spending  are up, and the economy continues to grow.
