Transparency: Another Biden Broken Promise

Rapid Response

Why does the Biden administration not believe in oversight and accountability?

First, Secretary of State Antony Blinken hampered Congress from seeing a dissent cable from officials on the ground in Afghanistan before Biden’s disastrous withdrawal.

Now, FBI Director Christopher Wray is refusing to provide an unclassified document to the full Oversight Committee detailing an alleged bribery scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden.

The Oversight Committee has already uncovered bank records which “show the Biden family, their associates, and their companies received over $10 million from foreign nationals and their companies,” including transactions while Biden was vice president.

Those findings are in addition to the mountain of evidence that suggests Biden not only knew about but was involved in his family’s influence peddling – including text messages, emails, a voicemail, visitor’s logs, photographs, and on-the-record accounts.

Congress has the constitutional right and obligation to conduct oversight on behalf of the American people. Biden promised transparency. It’s another promise broken.
