TRUMP EFFECT: Jobs Growth Beats Economists’ Expectations For Fourth Month In A Row

President Trump just beat expectations yet again. 

For the fourth month in a row, job growth beat economists’ projections. In June:

• The economy added 147,000 new jobs, 41,000 higher than expected
• The economy has added 671,000 jobs since President Trump took office.
• All job gains since January have gone to native born workers, reversing the trend of foreign-born workers getting jobs under the Biden administration.
• There were 7,000 fewer federal jobs in June.
• The unemployment rate dropped to 4.1%
• Wages grew by 3.7%
